Hey all,

A very weird request this one!

Does anyone have an UE wireless speaker that when it has low battery says "Critical Battery, Please Charge."

I want to try and get this as a sample for a song I want to make for a joke friends present.

Have searched high and low for a video of it coming out of the speaker online but can't find it anywhere, and the friend with this speaker is in Australia and doesn't have the gear needed to get a good recording

Are you able to obtain the actual audio clip from the firmware for the device?

As @VincentHanna says, I don’t have one and don’t fancy dropping £400 on one just for the sample for a jokey present

Do you think it would be possible to extract the Audio from a firmware file if I can find one online?

EDIT: I've found the firmware and extracted using 7Zip, but can't see any audio files in there, lots of JS files and other random stuff unfortunately.

Are the audio files likely to be "hidden" inside one of these?

You might need a major release version, don’t know if the incremental updates would have everything.

You could try emailing the company directly and seeing if they will send it to you. Worth a shot while you investigate other options

Just started Peep show again for the 1000th time, so glad you've posted this

Can confirm, friend in Australia sent a video of it without me asking and had an audio engineer friend rip out and clean up the audio for me, thanks for the help though guys!
