Does Anyone Here Still Play Magicka?

Just got this game, I realize I'm late to the party.

Also have "caverns" and "marshlands" dlc...would anyone like to play with a total noob?

How does this game work, do you play single player then your level and items carries into multiplayer? Like good old diablo.

Also some tips would be nice, common sense tips or stuff I wouldn't find out otherwise.

Just started a new game, been to the cheese party and now I'm told to use a life spell to heal myself.

I press W, then middle mouse button...nothing is happening.

Any ideas guys?

I had that problem on the tutorial thing, i decided to give up and try a different character (suit or whatever) and that fixed it, it was the first basic one that's pre selected.

I have the cyber suit, alright I'll try the normal suit.

As far as I have gathered from Playing it; there is no levels as in character levels. For an RPG game it is Pretty RPG free. Which makes is a not an RPG............... Anyway.....

Q F Q F A A S for Steam electric beam, also makes a pretty decent AoE.
QR QR QR A S for electrical ice point blank shards of death.

When dealing with other spell casters, you want to have a sword equipped, holding i think its ctrl? will channel other players / npc mages beam etc into the sword, giving you a free charged weapon attack.
