We’ve had various ones done at Holier Than Thou and Day of Reckoning (in Denton). Both are good studios but it’s more important finding an artist whose work you like and who can work with you on the design you want.

My wife has had a lot of hers done at Manchester Ink on Oldham Street. They also seem to own Studio 81 and Studio 95, which are also on Oldham Street.

They've got a lot of artists between them and it's a case of finding one who has a style you like.

There's nothing remotely respectable about tattoos or the people and places that engrave them. There will be a plethora of ageing people, especially the women foolish enough to have allowed themselves to be brainwashed by their perceived peers into having them done, wanting rid of them as they realize older age and an imperfect body lie uneasily with "art forms" done on youthful flesh.

You can easily tear up imitation wood flooring and other expletives of recent time, ridding oneself of tattoos is somewhat harder and a lot more expensive and painful. Tattooed women are probably the worst eyesore on our streets these days, usurping even modern inner city architecture as an assault on one's vision and senses.

Have you ever sat down and made a list of all the people you don't like? Should keep you busy for a while.
