Iv set-up a btconnect e-mail on one of my customers iphones, but I dont think the iphone app has the option to send when he accesses his bt e-mail that I set-up (pop/smtp).

He has another account on their (web based yahoo account) where he gets the option to send.

Any ideas? Its only showing the folder "inbox" where he goes to view e-mails etc but no options for sending, replying, deleting etc.

Are BT one of those ones where to send you have to be using their ISP (and the iPhone is using 3G or next-doors WiFi or something?)
I've seen with ISP email services before where to send from a PlusNet account the request must be coming from a PlusNet connection..

I've got my iPhone working fine with my GMail account, Hotmail account, and my website/domain (TSOHost) account :).

I have two on mine - GMail and my Uni mail. Both work fine with receiving and sending mail.

As said above, is your outgoing mail server settings correct and/or are you even allowed to send from a non-BT connection?

Outgoing mail server is set to BT, but when I spoke to him on the phone he had no option to send e-mails :S

btinternet.com email addresses are best set up as a Yahoo account through the wizard, but btconnect have different settings - possibly worth trying? Go to set up a new mail account, go through the Yahoo bit, and put in your btconnect details. I'm fairly certain they're quite different settings to btinternet though.
