does anyone know if there is a complete sims 2 set?

i wouldnt mind getting the sims 2 but id want to get all the expansions too, the cheapest i can find it online with all the expansions (not including stuff packs) is £53 2nd hand

is there a box set that contains all of them? :confused: or does anyone know of one due to be released?
 
I can't find one, but I can imagine they might release one soon, as Sims 3 is out in a couple of weeks, so they'll have stopped developing expansions for Sims 2.

Or you could just wait and buy Sims 3.
 
i plan to get sims 3 too but im waiting to see if a problem will be fixed first ;)
i guess ill just wait a while and hope there will be a box set released with everything :)
 
i tried it out yesterday and it seems to have a problem when you pan the camera, even tho the framerate is high there is a lot of stuttering & as far as i can see its only affecting people on high end systems
someone on another forum i use could run it maxed on his mid range laptop but when he plays it on his fairly decent pc he gets it & it happens nomatter what settings & resolution is used

im not sure? im on a E8600 and a gtx280, someone else i know who had the problem has a 4870x2 & i have seen others complaining too
i have uninstalled it now anyway as i was just testing how well it worked on my system before i placed a pre order

ill wait until after its released and see if the people who were having the problems are still having them after a few patches ;)
 
There's no Sims 2 complete collection out yet, there is a Sims 1 collection but AFAIK they were still developing Sims 1 expansions for a couple of months after Sims 2 came out and the Sims collection took a while to come out.

I wouldn't hold your breath to be honest mate, if you want the expansions fork out for them seperately :(
