Does anyone know where I can get an upto date MOT checklist for a car?

I have my MOT due next month and want to start checking over the car (I know the usual bits but want to make sure I cover as much as possible before taking it through).

How much is the MOT these days?

The one I found is..

There is a few things wrong at the mo with my car...(MK4 Golf GT TDi) Y Reg

At the moment I think there is a slight leak in my water cooler as the water level drops over time (making the warning light show on the dash)

Glow light indicator flashing (although I have one bulb out) im hoping this is the issue

Immobaliser/key fob doesnt work, I have to open my door by key and start the car
within 15 seconds or alarm sounds, although once started the alarm will not alarm itself until I lock the door with the key again, would this fail an MOT?

Im going to do more checks this weekend but want to make sure I have the latest list.
 
I can send you a copy of the 2008 car (and motorcycle) owner's guide to the MOT poster from MOT testing magazine if you like. I have about half a dozen in my desk drawer because we sponsored it last year.

The only thing that would fail here is the bulb being out.
