Does anyone make a nice keyboard...?

It seems impossible to find a simple, decent keyboard for a desktop these days!

I'm not a hardcore gamer so don't want one that looks like it just dropped off an alien mothership.
I'm not using it in the living room so don't want a track pad, to be half size, solar charging, glass top...
I'm not writing a novel and need one as thick as a house brick with mechanical keys.

It seems like the typical desktop user has been forgotten about. I use my computer for CAD (solidworks), photography and image editing (adobe), office, music / films and the web.

I had the original Logitech diNovo years ago and that was great. I could get an apple keyboard but I'm a PC user and all my tower + monitor is black. I could get the standard £5 Dell you get free but there must be better than that!

- Wireless would be nice
- Number pad is optional
- Illuminated keys is a bonus
- Black would be good

Suggestions?

I bought a Cherry DW3000 wireless desktop for work. Nice key movements, lovely flat keyboard and an ambidextrous mouse, and can be had for less than £20

I really like the MS keyboards, they are proper full size. Even the cheap ones are good to type and game on, not too noisy, or too much travel, but quite positive and soft at the same time.
