I named one of my guitars 'George', because it's an Ibanez GB100 and the GB stands for George Benson. But none of my other guitars have names, and my PC certainly doesn't.
My gaming rig is Alexastrasza after the Life-binder, as I had a WoW sub at the time. My previous rig was called Skywalker, probably because I was subscribed to Star Wars Galaxies at the time. My home server is called Ossus - a reference to the Jedi library that held the collective knowledge of the galaxy, which is kind of what the server does with pretty much every file I have
My car is known to all as 'Bella' too, as it's Italian. Even mates with no interest in cars call it Bella. Now that I've had her three years though I just call her 'old blackie.'
The computer name is Cray-2, always has been, always will be. It's a personal joke to myself because it isn't very powerful. In real life I just call it "the computer"

I find it funny that most people don't know how to right-click a drive and rename it, so I normally rename other peoples drives and computers but not my own except for network purposes.
My gaming PC is always called Phoenix, because it always has at least one component from a previous incarnation (though admittedly these days it's usually just the optical drives). I used to name the rest of the systems at home after Norse gods, but now I just use the model - my laptop is called 4320s for example.
