Does anyone use Abel & Cole?

I've never used them before but I'm quite tempted, is the stuff they send really good? In the 1-2 person boxes how much food are we really talking, it is expensive for what you get?

Just thought I'd do the usual OcUK screening before purchase.

had the family box delivered for several years. Convenient but expensive for what it is tbh. If I needed to save a few bob, it would be the 1st thing to get cancelled (not that it is my choice)....

you tent to get a glut of produce over several weeks. Perhaps it is "seasonal" but 2 huge red cabbages in 2 weeks is more than I need really.
The purple carrots are very nice (and interesting) as are their apples and oranges. Mushrooms are often dry and (in my view) the tomatoes are tasteless.

Just had another load of courgettes delivered today - oh joy.

I get a box every two weeks. They send way too many potatoes.

I think it saves me money over-all as I don't do as many supermarket trips, but the main reason I get them is that I usually lack the enthusiasm to manage actual shopping.

I used them for a year or so, they were good. Stopped it when my wife stopped working so has time to shop/go to the market.
