I've been using this little iTunes like program for a while now and I have to say that it's fantastic.
The program has access to 1000's of music artists and it's completely legal.
Music streams to your computer @ 160kbps sound quality.

What's the catch you may ask? Well occasionally a little ad pops up and once every 25 songs or so there will be a 30 second spoken advert. But these are very unobtrusive.
