Can you use windows vista on a mac and what is the performance like especially when paying games?

You can run vista on a Mac, through BootCamp, Parallels or VMWare (there are other methods but certainly no good for games)

For gaming dual booting through BootCamp is really your only option and Vista will run at native speed dependant on the spec of your Intel Mac.

Yup, I've been running Vista on mine since the day i bought it. Use Vista 95% of time Mac 5%.

Works a treat, only problem is on the new MBP's, nVidia havent actually released ANY drivers for the 8600M GT. The hacked drivers out there are fine, but ofcourse nVidia + Dual View = NO! External monitors are a no go in Vista atm but this is because of incredibly poor nVidia support.

Have you played any games on your MBP?

Yup played Quake 4 on it, 1440x900 max res 4xAA / 8xAF was playable, no FRAPS running i didnt feel it drop below 30fps at all.

Also a few bouts of C&C3 and again, 1440x990 high quality was no problem.
