Does arctic silver go off?

I don't think it "goes off", but it can separate if left for a while.

As long as it doesn't come out like water it should be fine to use, and if it does, just mix it together.

i definatly think thermal paste after long periods like 2 - 3 years starts wearing a bit thin and could do with cleaning off and areapplication

The advice I read some years ago was to store it in the fridge vertically to reduce the likelihood of it seperating.

just imagin that! you come in drunk one nite, fancy some mayo on those chips you just cooked, grab what you think is mayo, ponder over the small tube, shrug ot off as just being drunk, spread it over your chips and start munchin..... mmmm metalic!

So you usually store your food stuff in Syringes?

TBH if you come home drunk and decide to cook then you deserve to die, squirting blood 10 foot high!

:/

According to their website it does not 'go off' but the different size particles will seperate, with the larger and heavier ones settling to the bottom, and smaller ones 'floating' to the top.

They recommend long storage to be vertical pointing up, as you would rather the smaller particles to be used, if some seperation has occured, than the larger particles that may not completely fill the voids.

Hope this helps
