Does Call of Duty®: War Chest on steam work fine with windows 7

Looking at buying the Call of Duty®: War Chest off steam but wondering if these games work OK with windows 7 64bit

Can anyone comfirm if they work fine with w7 64bit ??
 
As is it Quake 3 engine it *should* work fine, although you will likely need to configure resolution etc via config file (assuming you are using a widescreen monitor).

Seems a bit overpriced though?
 
cod 1 nd uo are little buggers on new op systems .

my mate cant get his cod of that era to work on windows 7 64 bit tried ati 10.4 tried taking out the bit needed and putting in newest it just wont work.

look on steam in cod section youll see massive thread with no answers.

if you have xp its pretty simple . but newer op systems just dont like ealry games .

shame cause cod 1 and uo still best cod games out.

After reading the steam forums it may only be a problem with ATI cards..

I have to go do some more reading to found out if it works fine with nvidia GPU cards & w7 64bit..
 
apparently it is more ati focused with problems and i believe there is a profile in nvidia to make it work.

i had the problem myself but not on windows 7 i messed about with 10.4 ait and i got them working.

did same on my mates with windows 7 and it wont work no matter what but we are both ati.

but one of other friends with w7 and nvidia its fine.

if you want earlier games just get the edition with cod 1 and uo in same pack its a 5er new from green jungle place :D
