I am trying to install and run Alone in the Dark 4. The game is an OpenGL API Interface based game. Sinec my card is runnng Catalyst, how do I check if the driver is built for OpenGL applications/games?

The installation is complaining
"Cannot install GLSetup under Windows 2000 or Windows NT. Please go to your hardware vendor's website for latest OpenGL drivers for your video card."

The game is a festering turd. Not worth to carry the AitD name.

It is doing you a huge favour by not installing, if you really want to crush any memories of the original games try the compatibility mode as suggested above.

Alone in the Dark 4 (The New Nightmare) isn't that bad, you're probably thinking of the game from last year (AITD4 is from 2001). Anyway, glsetup is an old application that was used to setup OpenGL for 3dfx cards and the like. It's obsolete these days, and as such you don't need it at all.

Oh I like the game very much, the atmosphere is so good.
I got it sorted, it was the virtual disk software which stuffed it up. I don't want to change disc so I tried to use virtual disk but in vain.
Why adventure games don't have full recorder. So that I can record the whole game like a movie!
