I just instaled Vista on a dual boot on my pc yesterday as I got a free upgrade. I was wanting to run some DX10 benchmarks on it, but would also like to use fraps along with the benchmarks. Only problem is I cant get it to work.

Is there a compatibility issue and is there anyway to sort it or could you suggest another programe to use???

thanks

Hayley :)

I had Fraps working in Vista when I was using Vista but performance was pretty shocking, about 50% of what it was in XP, though that may have been to do with chipset drivers being naff as well.

I installed vista 64bit last night and i was using fraps in half-life lost coast test...

So fraps works for sure in vista 64bit here...

But like Jokester said..there seems to be a very big performance loss compared to xp :(

I got Fraps working for DX9 games, Also got the fps of the media player visulization.

But it wouldn't get the FPS of DX10 benchmarks, Demo & games.

I don't think it can read DX10 fps yet.
