I have had a gmail account for a while but not really used it much. I am thinking of swapping to it from yahoo as yahoo has caused me some problems recently and gmail offers imap. However when I looked at my gmail acc all the emails had been archived. I am sure I didn't do this myself so does gmail archive them automatically after a certain time? I looked through the settings but couldn't see any control for this.
I want to use gmail imap with opera's mail client and it would be easier if I could turn off the 'all mail' folder from gmail and leave everything in 'inbox', however, this won't work if gmail auto archives mail.
thanks
