does God exist in space?

i believe that each and everyone of us can manipulate the energy around us. I believe there is a greater power out there but i'm not sure if i'd call it god or even if it is human like. My own opinion but i just could never get my head around the whole god thing. even though i was brought up by very religious parents and attended church right through till i was 16. eventually told my parents i thought it was a load of crap. didnt go down well :p

It's upsetting to see a subject as stupid and pathetic as "religion" even turn up on what I thought was a forum for intelligent people.

No.

It is important to a lot of the Human population but not to "The" Human population.

It's is important in the current state of the human population. Atheists and agnostics are a minority and most of them are still influenced by a religion. Doesn't matter that we belong to any of the groups.

It's not as simple as plebs following a religion and intelligent people disbelieving in their irrational views.

Can you tell me where to go where I won't be influenced by religion?
Probably impossible to escape no matter where you go.

Have you just started using your brain?

You have no idea how important religion is for the human population.

Fear of a higher power and following the rules set by them in hope for a reward is known as slavery. You have no idea how crippling it is to our society. The human race will never be truly free until every single one of us gains the capacity for clear thought and self-belief, putting your own life and faith in something that enslaves your own mentality is an illness.

Don't think you'll be able to escape religion until all civilizations collapse. It's a natural developed form of organised beliefs followed by a group of people. Everyone has doubts.

Wrong. Religion can be crippling to a society but it can also benefit society as a whole.

I see your point of view on faith. It is a little limited when you realise that religion doesn't necessarily enslave a person.

Just to clear up, I'm agnostic (or so I think) but my view on religion is a little broader than a simple judgement of religious extremism.

It's an invention by the late Roman government to keep the poor people of that time quiet in fear of a higher power. The Religion it'self is 100% astrological, as with many other Religions.

The world would be a better place if people just thought for themselves, rather than giving in to Religion.

My view point on faith isn't a little "limited", I totally disregard such a matter, just as I would if someone came up to me with a fairytale whilst attempting to persuade me it's a true story. The entire concept is absurd.

You don't need facts to realise that, whilst many do exist.

And you're agnostic? You should become Pastafarian, we're much better. :)

Does your knowledge of religion goes back to Roman times only?

You don't give in to religion these days, you can choose whatever suits your beliefs and follow that. What's wrong with that?
