Does GPU-Z reliably report clock speed?

Hi all,

I've been testing a couple of 670 Windforce 3X cards, but I'm a bit confused because the readings from EVGA Precision X and GPU-Z (which agree with each other) are all over the place for one of the cards, and they are quite different from the other card. One card will run rock solid at 1332MHz and the TDP is reading only around 100% at that. The other card seems to set whichever clock speed it feels like, regardless of what I do with Precision X. It sometimes goes higher than what I would expect, sometimes lower, and moves around a lot. It is always in the 1220-1254 region and the TDP is always around 110% regardless of the clock.

Does anybody have any idea what's going on here? Am I getting false readings for both cards? Why is one using so much more power than the other?

I believe so. I found it more accurate than earlier versions of AfterBurner in my experiences.

If you run Heaven loop, what is happening with both GPU's? Run in Windowed mode.
