Does Grid support GFWL if bought from Steam?

I bought Grid a few weeks back off Steam when it was on offer and have just noticed that it is listed on the Microsoft site under Games For Windows Live.

I haven't downloaded and installed it yet but can anyone confirm if the Steam version supports GFWL so I can unlock xbox achievements while playing it on my PC?

Grid is a games for windows game, not a games for windows live game, so it doesn't allow you to log on with your GT & get acheivements etc
