Does/Has anyone work/worked in an Apple Store?

I had a phone call today about a vacancy in an Apple Store as a Mac Specialist. Does anyone have any first hand advice as to salary, working environment and so on, and any tips should it reach interview stage?

I'd never given it a second thought before but they've seen my CV on Monster and have given me a call, presumably because I have working experience with Macs and live closeish to the store, but now it's come up I'm quite interested. I think I may enjoy it, so I'll give it a shot if I get a chance. I'm not sure if I have the sort of experience they're looking for (mine is mainly print related), but like I said, I'm interested and I'd certainly give it a go if it was offered to me.

I'm sure there's at least one person here who works in an Apple Store, but I think he's a Genius? Either way any advice would be much appreciated :)

thats where the thing came from the wife said they were helpful and told me not to get a 160 gig ipod as theres no way i would use it all. they were right lol.

any issues im coming back there though :)
 
Ive never - but it looks like a sweet place to work... they all look so happy :) Plus who WOULDNT want to work behind the desk and be called a Genius :D
