I've always used some AS5, is there any better now?

The Arctic Cooling MX-2 is meant to be as good, if not better than the AS5.

Havent used it though, so don't listen to me

My CPU coolers using AS5, haven't got much to compare it with though, I just don't trust the horrible white stuff that comes with the cooler

Hmm not sure tbh, personally i would send a webnote asking them if would fit.
But i would say it would be fine.

Yes, even a TRUE will fit in the 300, I did a system with one last week.

zalman fan i used to build my system last week using that cooler and that case, and personally think its a excellent cooler using it with a E8500 on a asus board very quiet and very low temps.
