*Update* 08/07/2008
Built my system and dont know how to set raid 0 on msi p45 neo-f (raid compatible)

e7200 1.2vish 20c idle
2gb geil 6400 800mhz 4-4-4-12 1.9-2.0v ram
hd 4850 50c idle
Antec 900 20c temps
2 36GB Raptors
200gb (storage BROKEN)

I was overclocking my setup by increments of 10-20mhz and got all the way to 3.4ghz
1.34 cpu
2.1 ram
auto
auto
auto
ram timing 4-4-4-12
Temps were 53 on 1 core and 40 on the other (real temp)
Ram was running around 900-+ (If i went above 900 couldnt post

I set my cpu to 3.4ghz and booted fine, i loaded into windows and had some kind of failure message, it basically corrupted my install and repair wouldnt work either so i had to re-install - i first need to find out how to raid

Secondly i want to know why my overclocks are stable for 30minutes yet when i restart after installingg a program my pc wont boot but after pressing the power button on/off it boots fine and runs orthos blend prime 95 etc fine without the sign of any problems?

Why is this?

msi p45 neo-f mobo

edit - i also figured that the voltages may be better on some cpu's than others - ie lower voltage = better and that the cooling is really nice giving me headroom, coz 24c seems really cold compare to my old CPU

my cpu didnt want to boot using 4-4-4-12 timings on my ram when my cpu was at 2.6ghz
I dont know if its not enough voltage by my mobo or what?

Having 1:1 ratio with my ram was bringing it really high when increasing the FSB by very little, it was running 950+ and that was nowhere near 2.7ghz?

What about the 1066/800 option, thats what i was using in my bios as my cpu is 1066 and ram is 800

still no joy overclocknug my cpu, which temperature should i rely on aswell?
My PC just crashed as soon as i tried to run prime and my mobo isnt even letting me overvolt to 1.2+

how can you tell if ram is holding you back?
I have done another stock test to give temperatures, which program should i trust?

I am setting ratio to 1.1.50 (.50 = 1066/800 ram on my mobo)
Upped the FSB by 50 and it didnt boot

The ram voltage was 1.8 so put it at 1.9 and still no change
The timing on the ram at auto was 5-x-x-x- and is meant to be 4-4-4-12 so i chaged that

Should i update the bios? only problem is i have an ipod if that would work and no floppy drive :(

i was increasing fsb by 10/20 and stress testing via orthos blend and all temps were below 55/60 in all programs and when i loaded into windows i got an unrecoverable error that said i had to repair windows and repair didnt work so i had to format :(

grrrrr :(

Also what am i doing wrong when i restart because it doesnt post yet when i press power off then back on it posts just fine? its like the restart button in windows wont let my system work, its still orthos blend testing for an hour stable tho had it to 3.4 so far

i have its 1.1.50 on the motherboard
i can only set the ram in increments to my fsb of cpu
ie
1.1.25 = 1066/600
1.1.50 = 1066/800
1.x.xx = 1333/600
x.x.xx = 1333/800

The problem is my system doesnt boot on a restart but when i press the power button it does
