I am currently using a PG279Q at home. At work, in my company we all use multiple monitor setups and at home I feel like I am missing something. At home I game and I do programming and video editing fairly often. A second monitor would be very nice but the problem is I am not sure if I should ditch my PG279Q.
The reason that I want to ditch my PG279Q is it is almost 3 years old. It is an amazing monitor but does getting another PG279Q (which was released in 2015) make sense?
Is there any alternative to it? For example, I can go for double Acer Predator Gaming X34 but does it make sense?
My options:
- Keep using single PG279Q and be content with it until something better (really worth buying) comes along.
- Get another gaming or non-gaming monitor, put it next to PG279Q; use both for productivity tasks and use only PG279Q for gaming.
- Go get another PG279Q
- Ditch PG279Q and go buy X amount of [insert here model and monitor manufacturer]
