I have Sony wh-1000xm3 headphones which I am very happy with in terms of listening to music and which I thought could be used as gaming headphones too. However, they have too much bass sound. And because of the tight fit to the ears, you can't sit in them for long. Strong sound insulation makes talking on the microphone "unusual", to put it mildly, since you don't hear your own voice when you speak, and the microphone there is bad.
So I thought that maybe real gaming headphones are devoid of all these disadvantages. I went to my favorite site rtings.com and found headphones that suit me Astro A50 X.
But I was also surprised when I saw that my Sony has a good 7.6 points in the Wired Gaming category, which is pretty good because this is more score than many pure gaming headsets have.
Now I'm racking my brain over whether it makes sense to buy Astro A50 X to replace the Sony WH-1000XM3. Will there be a noticeable improvement in the sound quality in games? Rr since they both have a good rating the sound quality will be barely distinguishable.
