BTW, much has been talked about constraint of Copper or metal in general in telecomunication transmission bandwith. That is reason for optical line to exist. Anyone has good data on transmission constraint of silicon.

Thanks.

I presume that is the bandwidth of the Pipe/connection that this will create. Neither FSB nor Hypertransport but could be used to connect anything? So long as whats at the other end can read the optical signal.
