Does itunes create a playlist on xp?

My cousins ipod touch is acting up on xp, and being a music freak she has a massive playlist that she doesn't want to rearrange if i need to uninstall itunes. Im assuming there must be some kind of playlist file that the ipod syncs with itunes, on winxp anyone know what the file name would be?

Copy the contents from %USERPROFILE%\Music\iTunes folder (including the iTunes Music) to another location, then restore it back once you have done.
