Does Limewire still work?

I ask because every time I search for anything these days every search comes back with absolutely zilch!

I only use it to get single tracks here and there but it's proving a right pain :mad:

It is legal, what you do with it might not be legal. Depends which tracks your searching for. Some are legal some not.

Frostwire still seems to show up some results still (Frostwire was the sort of side project free development version, after the guys who develop limewire decided to release a pro paid version and limit the free version)

Yes, I know. However the legal aspect would be for word documents etc. NOT music that is copyrighted and as the op has not stated it COULD be illegal.

Limewire works for me, been using it for years without a problem, just make sure you dont download any EXE's.

Still works, just dont use it on an important pc (mate lost access to his bios on an old p2 450 pc, we laughed a lot as he lost all of his "clips" from limewire too)

I've never once had a problem with Limewire as far as viruses/spyware is concerned

Well as long as you use protection then it should limit the risks. Limewire has been fine for me, I haven't updated it in ages but for getting random bits and pieces it's fine.

I cry a little when I have to fix a computer with Limewire on. Told my sister if she ever installs it that I will never even touch her computer again.

I'd really recommend trying SoulSeek, it's a great program for music.
