Looking at grabbing a laptop for a linux windows dual boot, just wondering if linux makes use of hyperthreading, i.e. i5-4210U 2 cores 4 threads. Trying to get a laptop that performs the best with linux
Support for processor features tends to make into Linux before the processors are even available on the market. There's an option in the kernel to support hyperthreading - it's been there since the first CPUs had it, so there'll be no issues.
