Does looking at a site a few times use up bandwidth?

So I have my own little website with 1Gb bandwidth per month. My question is, If I keep looking at the webpage (as in loading the page, not just checking back in an open tab!) will it eat up my bandwidth?

I always thought that once you look at a site, you download the pics etc, so when you go back, you dont have to download them again. Am I right?

It should load it from cache (from your hard disk) as long as you haven't reached the limit set in your browser, i.e. 50mb cache.

If you make a change to your site, you'll need to force a refresh of the site to download which is usually Ctrl & F5 or Shift & F5.
