Does m2tw kingdoms come with a cd key?

hello, well I'm reinstalling some of my old games and I appear to no longer have a cd key for kingdoms. I thought it was on a sticker in the case but apparently not, it's also not on the manual. Now I find it strange that I would have lost it so I'm wondering if I never even had one to start with. Could anyone shed some light?

Well the game seems to be installing without even asking for a cd key.
