I have a MSI Z170A Gaming Pro Carbon motherboard and 16 GB DDR4 3000 MHz RAM.
By default, the RAM runs at 2400 MHz.
I appear to need to enable XMP on the motherboard in order to run it at 3000 MHz.
That's fine, but when I turn on MSI's Game Boost (to OC my 6700K from 4.2 GHz to 4.4 GHz), XMP appears to be disabled and the RAM frequency drops back to 2400 MHz.
Any ideas?
