Does my GPU automatically change fan speed?

Yo,

I have an Asus GTX 760 and don't use any programs in order to overclock it or anything, I only have the nVidia display driver. Now, I don't really know whether the fan speed of the card changes or not, for all I know it stays the same. How can I work out if it is changing speed or not?

It will certainly change speed when in use / under heavy load. You can use something like GPU-Z to monitor the GPU if you want, something like MSI Afterburner would allow you to customise the fan curve too (and OC the card).

Download gpuz and leave it running while gaming, in the sensors tab youll be able to see how the fan ramps up/down. Though id still suggest using something like afteruburner even though your not overclocking.

If you use HWmonitor it will keep track of the min/current/max temps and fan speeds reached while it was running
