Hi all, I'm planning to build a gaming system next week, and was planning to use my OCZ SilentXStream 500W power supply. However, I'm not sure if it will work because it says here http://www.ocztechnology.com/ocz-500w-stealthxstream-power-supply-eol.html it only has one 6-pin PCI-E connector. Some may have had 2 connectors, but I'll need to double check it later when I get home.
If it has only 1, then does that mean if I want to run a Radeon 5850 or 6950, I would need a new PSU?
The cards I'm looking at in particular are:
Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5850 Extreme 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card **OcUK Exclusive**
XFX ATI Radeon 6950 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
I have two builds in mind atm; an ATX one with an i5 2500, and a mini-ITX with an i3 540 in a Silverstone Sugo SG07. I would also like to know if the Silverstone SG07 Mini-ITX Gaming Case - Black/Silver (With 600W PSU) can handle either GFX card in there?
Regards
