Hi All,

As title really, does my phase 2 (2005) Yaris headunit have an AUX input? I know I could pull the thing out, but don't really want to pull my dash apart to find out I haven't got one :D

If it hasn't can I add it on somehow? What do I need?

Cheers,

Generally stock head units with aux inputs will have them acessible, front of the HU, glovebox, center console etc. Would be a bit pointless putting it there otherwise :)

Best chance is if it has controls for a CD changer then there may be a cable available which can hijack the audio-in for the changer and give you an AUX in. Ended up doing that on Vixs Smart a few years back.

That's what I was thinking - trouble is that I don't see any button's for a CD changer, although I was thinking (hoping :D) that pressing the mode button would show the CD Changer / AUX setting once something was plugged in to it!

Agree about the AUX being accessible if it's got one from stock - I'd more or less resigned myself to the fact their wasn't one there already. Any more ideas on adding one?

I doubt there's a much cheaper/easier way, or they wouldnt exist, they're only 30 quid :p

Fitting should be pretty straight forward although never done anything in a Yaris

Cheers mate, I'll have a look over the weekend. The cheapest I've seen them is £50, where are they found for £30?
