Hey, someone at a local DK board recently told me that there is no longer delivery to Denmark, also the delivery cost-calculator does no longer work

Can this realy be so ?

And in case its not true, how am I supposed easy to get delivery-costs ?

In case its true, how comes this decission been taken ?

Thanks in advance for any answer ;)

Yes it is true, just while we sort out some historical issues with the danish vat authority. If you are a danish business with a vat number give us a call/webnote/customer service forum and we can take your order.

Seems the common market only encourages trade between businesses, not end users :(

I expect later this year you'll be able to order as an end-user again but will be paying danish vat (is it more / less than uk now?).

Tanks for all the replyes :-) and thanks for the feed-back from Overclockers, Im a private costumer, look forward to things get sorted out, the sooner the better, vat is 25 % here, thanks again

I take it this means you've sold too much to Denmark and now you have to register there for VAT! You should artificially limit your sales each year :p

Distance selling threshold is pretty low there. It's 280,000 DKK which is about £30k or so.

This would not be unusual guess Conrad.de and Thomann.de went through that same limit, and now uses the Danish 25 % vat default when shipping to DK

No good Danish hardware web sites???

Its been gradually better during the last 5 years or so, but still there might be many situations where it makes sense to order outside DK, f.eks. in UK, also using our valuta in Sweden, certain things are half price compared to DK, but then again, other things is more expensive in Sweden, but not double up,..
