job prospect has changed so I'm going to be using my computer less and I'm getting rid of my graphics card tomorrow and also buying. A netbook and so I was thinking about selling one of my ram sticks if it be worth it.

While I have 16gb In a none originally quad kit they are of the same speed yet in bios it reads one to be 1333 and the other 1600, might be a setting I haven't found, but if I have faster speed at the cost of half the size I'd be okay with that, I'm selling my computer, but I need to sort my hard drive stuff first so it all will go eventually.

I think, from memory, quantity wins over speed, for the most part.

Also, unfortunately, I can't imagine you're going to get much for your single stick of ddr3 1333

job prospect has changed.

For the good i hope Exo.

And unfortunately, Thekwango's right - it's not worth breaking up the memory for the price you'll get.

Better to sell matched pairs when your ready as they'll be more attractive.

Thanks for reply.

The ram are actually 1600, but bios reads one at 1333 and the other 1600, I tried what settings I could see and even xmp just shows the same figure, I only had the extra 8 gig because I could, I haven't been doing anything since buying the computer that required 8gb, but obviously that one came with the computer, just I have had mix ram before on purpose and this isn't meant to be mix in terms of speed unless as I said I am missing something?

Yeah I know a single stick of ram won't be worth much, I should hope £15 given how much I've seen them elsewhere it was just a thought as I won't need it unless the computer sells as it is lol and I know the 750 won't be worth a lot now, I paid 45 back in Feb for it used, so anything over 20 will do me lol which is what I will get tomorrow, it's just to fund other tech things I require.

I know I haven't got that great of a computer in the sense of hardcore gamers and I've had it 2 years, but I'm trying to get the most I can from it and in Devon is seems people what things for peanuts, example, I tried to sell mobo combo with ram for £130 before getting new case a month ago and someone wanted it just for £30

Yeah hopefully so plec and not just to be able to get nice tech stuff, but part time work sucks ha
