Does RAM speed affect CPU idle temp?

Hey guys,

I just rolled back my RAM for Ryzen stability issues..

now my idle/low use has gone from 38-40c idle to 35-36c since the change of RAM settings..

Can this be caused from the OC on the RAM?

Overclocking ram does generally increase cpu temps as the memory controller uses more power at higher speeds - i think anyway.

Second question doesn't make sense to me.

Sorry, my English sucks

What im trying to say is that, when I change the VCORE volts down in the BIOS, HWM still says its at the same as before it was changed??

That's strange maybe adjust llc to give the correct lower volts you require.

Ofcourse by running memory and also effectively cache higher you are creating more heat on the Cpu even in idle.

Its been me, after close monitoring the volts have been limiting, its just a bit confusing to change and monitor on this GB board..
