Does replacing the GPU heatsink void warranty?

Hey guys,

So I purchased a 5970 today, wait yesterday (Maybe I should stop playing battlefield....) and was thinking to buy the Arctic Cooling Accelero Xtreme cooling solution for it (Better overclocking etc). Now I own a 4870x2 at the moment and noticed a small "Void if removed" sticker on it, that would break if I removed the heatsink.

My question is this, can I replace the heatsink on a 5970 without voiding the warranty (Including the ability to perform an RMA)

Thanks
James

Hey thanks for all the suport. I guess I'll just stick to stock cooling for the first few months and if it does get to toasty I'll consider purchasing an after market cooler then.

Oh and tommybhoy is correct, ATI do allow the overclocking of their hardware with this exception "Limited warranty does not cover damages caused by heat due to user modifications". Hence the "ATI Overdrive" in CCC which will control the fan speed automatically to protect the card, and also shut the computer down if it goes over 105c (About that, its when my 4870x2 cuts out). I'm not sure about volt modding at the driver level however, but I cannot think of anyway that ATI would ever be able to detect this.
