Ive allways thought it wouldnt matter. for example if ran the same system with the same game settings on a 24" and a 50" screen would get the same fps if both screens were at the same res. I only ever belived that fps would drop if the res was raised not the screen size too. Is this true?? :)

24" or 50" they both have the same res which means they are displaying the same number of pixels so the gfx card isnt redering any more pixels on a 50" than a 24"

Ty :P just found 4-5 posts saying it did on tomshardware forums -_- lol just wanted to amke sure they were noobs and i wasnt lol ty ;)

Its a valid question, and the OP just wanted to re-assure himself of his believe (Imho). Anyway as long as the resolution is the same, the work on the GPU/CPU is unchanged regardless of the phyiscal screen size. Infact many 24inch screens are 1920x1200, while a lot of TV based "big screens" are 1920x1080, so slightly less pixels for the GPU to deal with :P
