Does Shadowplay capture voice in recordings?

Possibly going back to green again after a long stint with AMD, one of the deal breakers could be if you can capture in game voice commentary when recording through Shadowplay.

My son wants to make some videos to upload to youtube, but he wants to talk a lot of nonsense through the vids much like Nerd3 type youtube vids.:o

Any help would be appreciated.:)

Right now it doesn't but it's still in beta so it might happen, not sure if they've said anything about it as I haven't looked.

Thanks.:)

I know fraps does if you set it to record external sound

Yes I know, but thanks all the same for your input.:)

I'm thinking of an upgrade and waying up the pros and cons of whether to go stay on red or go back to green after a long absence.

Hmmm don't have it installed as I use Open Broadcaster. Tell your lad that for things like that (making videos) there's often better things to use than things built by nVidia / AMD. IMO Open Broadcaster will serve his needs more than fine and the performance impact is already minor enough that Shadowplay probably won't help too much in that regards. :)

I stream BF4 occasionally so performance hit needs to be small.
