Hi OcUK.

Does anyone know if there is such a thing as a front panel temperature display that does NOT take it's readings from probes inside your case, but rather from the built in censors on your components, á la Speed Fan, Real Temp et al?

I have the Scythe Kaze Master, but the temperature readings on it are fairly meaningless.

Thanks in advance!

Doubtful. You would need some sort of connection to the motherboard sensor data, be it through software and USB connection to the motherboard, or some other way directly through hardware (never heard of such interface available, certainly no connection standard that I know of).

Yeah, thought it might be a long shot alright. Thanks for the response though.

It might be possible if you could find a small LCD monitor and mod it to fit in a couple of drive bays then attach it as a secondary monitor, drop the Temp monitoring program's onto this screen and leave them there, though you'd prob have to re-position them each time you reboot, you could load them into the start up sequence but whether they'd remember to open on the second monitor I'm not sure
