Quick reply needed here guys!

I have many new apps on my iphone that are not on the PC. They were downloaded straight from the app store. If I sync the iphone to itunes, will it delete the newer apps?

Most likely, but before you do right click on your iphone in itunes left bar and slect transfer purchases; this will copy anything you've bought onto your pc

Nice one mate, will try it in awhile.

Another thing. I currently had it synced to my laptop but want to change over to using it on my PC. If I install itunes on the PC, then connect the iphone and do as you said... 'transfer purchases', would that also copy everything over to itunes so that it syncs correctly without deleting anything?

(new iphone user here:p)

No. Apps that have been purchased will transfer to the PC, when you connect the iPhone.

Essentially it'll "fill in the blanks".

If you've never enabled it, it'll ask first :p

If you are wanting to sync with a new computer then it'll say it is not sync'd with this computer, would you like to erase and sync again with this one...... so unless you have all your music/apps on the new one I'd not do that atm until you have done so.

I regularly buy/download apps directly on my iPhone, when I connect it to iTunes the apps are copied onto my Mac, it just happens.
