Hi i have a virgin hub 5 and am getting internet dropouts all the time when watching online services, i keep getting check connection popping up when streaming, son says its because i have too many devices connected, i have 10 ethernet and 21 wifi devices and 6 zigbee connected on a 100Mb connection. the wifi can be smart switches, smart plugs and harmony hub. wired is pc, server, all my av equipment. So i can have everything off bar the tv and stream and get the fault.
So have i too much connected ?
Thanks

Unlikely. The only ISP with an artificially low device count limitation was Sky with it's Sky Hub 2 iirc. but to point out the obvious, you say all your AV equipment is wired, presumably this includes the streaming device and/or TV? Which specific streaming service is it that you are having issues with?

Is it the TV you are streaming from and having the Wi-Fi disconnect issue? Is TV firmware up-to-date along with the streaming app on the TV? Or does it happen if you stream from any device on your network?

Thanks all, it can happen on tv, Apple TV, av receiver if internet radio is used. On streaming it happens on all services so I have booked an engineer for Saturday as on my last install I had an attenuation device removed by the engineer so maybe it’s needed again
