Does the extra gigabyte make such a difference?

I just read a review for card on OC where the reviewer said their 560ti couldn't handle BF3. However mine handles it with ease. He may have a 1GB card.

Just out of sheer curiosity, can anyone point me in the direction of any articles that show the differences between 1 and 2GB on the same card please.

I remember seeing a thread where it showed the 560 ti 1gb struggling with bf3 however I think this was a problem limited to the 560 ti.

One 2GB 560Ti is not likely to make any difference over one 1GB 560Ti because you're primarily limited by raw GPU grunt as opposed to VRAM.

You will run out of VRAM with a 1GB card but the FPS you'll be getting will be so bad anyway that it's a moot point.
