Does the i3 need a bios update?

Yeah it will, for most motherboards any way. Just update your BIOS to the latest one before you throw it in.

oh man..i hate bios updating

what about those new motherboard that a mod just made a thread about ..clarkdale lauch it was called. will those neeed a bios update?

H55, H57, Q57 won't need BIOS updates.


Only those motherboards will be able to use the GPU in the new processors.

The new ones, H55, H57 & Q57 will be able to use the CPU & GPU. The P55 motherboards won't be able to use the GPU in the new i3 & i5 CPUs.
