well does the kraken gpu cooler fit my old GPU? http://www.palit.biz/palit/vgapro.php?id=2210

i am getting a whole new pc but i will be keeping this pc (getting a h60 to cool the cpu for future use) and atm i have a 970 in this thing which will be going to the new pc. i have a spare gpu that was only 4-6 months old when i replaced it. its a gtx 770 palit OC (not a jetstream).

so does the kraken fit my gpu? i cant find any specifics about it.

i was sure that the companies use their own boards or something to fit all the stuff to?

maybe that is just something i have read for the 970s

Yeah it's the 970. There is no stock reference Nvidia model made by Nvidia, they are all made by the AIBs.

The 770 came as a reference model stamped Nvidia...

I'm not sure the Kraken will fit because that card may use an oddball after market PCB. Saying that though my Jetstreams used the stock 670 PCB so you may be OK. I would take a good hard look over your PCB and compare it to the stock 770 one. Having Nvidia on it will be the start....

well after posting this and thinking aobut what i typed, i am 95% i cannot fit a 2nd rad in my case without some huge head ache of moving things that are not suppose to be moved ie. the HDD cage which has a HDD in it.

i may just got with one of them morpheus things if i find the performance drop to big.
