Does the Logitech MX Revolution make a good gaming mouse?

Hi there, would like a good all rounder wireless mouse.

The mx looks like it fits the bill and it's something i can re-charge quite conveniently by putting it on charge while i'm away from the desk.

As for the low dpi... do i really need 5600 dpi??

I woudn't suggest going for the Revolution TBH, I used to have one and I switched to the MX 1100 and its much better.

However, if you game a lot then you may want to ditch wireless mice altogether to reduce lag and go for a good wired mouse. However, I game often using my MX1100 and have adapted - so its not a hard and fast rule.

As for DPI, what is the resolution of your monitor?

If you want to go wireless you kinda have to go with a Mamba for actual gaming, however light gaming I recommend you go with the Microsoft Sidewinder X8, the bluetrack means it's actually good for gaming as supposed to the dodgy laser setups on Logitech's high end mice and CM's sentinel.

Will prolly go for a good wired mouse or if i save up enough, would go for the mamba (jeez.. the price of that thing is astronomical! )
