Does the usb xbox 360 pad work with the PC?

With vista it should detect it as a 360 pad, and you need an adapter to use the wireless pad.

Doesnt work with call of duty 5. But, you can use a little program called "Xpadder" and then play in any games you wish. Even browse the internet by using the controller if you wish....

works with the vast majority of games native and is recognised by xp as a 360 pad without drivers.

xpadder solves all though if there are any issues.

M+KB owns the 360 pad for FPS

FPS with the pad sucks, but it rocks for driving, left for dead, gta etc.

Part of the GfW thing is to be compatible with the 360 pad.

I actually have two, just for comp, don't have a 360

L4d isn't an FPS

? L4D needs a mouse n kb as much as UT3 etc...

Also I disagree, GTA is still best played with mouse and kb, the driving perhaps isn't but on foot I can't imagine aiming with an analog

Best way to play GTA is mouse + KB on foot and a joypad for cars. When you get out of a car you can just drop the pad in your lap.

Why on earth would you want to play a FPS on a PC with a gamepad? That's like wanting to play football with both your feet tied together.
