Does this work if you download the ISO on a flash drive and then use the key from the DVD to register it?

Certinaly works for windows 10. Did it yesterday, altho its not the ISO you download.

There's a much better way to obtain a Windows key, genuinely cheap. Win 10 is 7 years old, so buy a 7 year old laptop, broken, spares or otherwise and pay £50 or less. Boom, genuine key :D

Except windows 10 keys are baked into the BIOS and if the laptop is non working then you can't retrieve the key.

Hardware that was windows 7 compatible is the better option since the key is printed on the device and would still work to activate windows 11 (hopefully)
 
you can go to windows and just download media creation tool for win 10 or 11. you need atleast a 8gb usb stick.

as for cheap cdkeys. the funny thing all those are actually free lol but people sell them. its just the beta keys from when windows come out. which still work.
