does the x1800xt PE bios disable 2nd monitor?

Hi after flashing my bios to the pe one,then installing ati tool,i now cannot extend onto my 2nd monitor,no matter what i try.
Is this the new bios?
The 2nd monitor is greyed out and when i "extend to monitor" i get a flash like it wants to go, but then it just greys out and the monitor stays blank.
Also device manager shows only 1 monitor but 2 x1800xt dvi devives

Sorry but its been a while since i had an ati & its probably something obvious.Some help in the right direction please.

Just a small idea. New bios = new card = new install??

Okay problem fixed.But not sure how.I suppose the driver just woke up,and got it together after the tenth click. yeah.Weird, i hope it doesnt happen again.
